Hi I’m Cheryl. I’ve spent my life trying to figure out who the heck I am. Guess how I found out! My daughter was doing a vocabulary course and the word factotum was used and it just clicked. I love learning, I love teaching, I have a head full of knowledge and I love to help. So that makes me (queue the music):
Cheryl – Factotum at Large
My purpose is to share stories (hopefully from other factotums too!), provide tips, tricks and ideas that you find useful. As you can see from my menu my main focus will be on homeschooling, working from home, lots of book reviews and pet stories galore.
In case you’re wondering, my masthead up there is really true. I live in a zoo and it’s not my fault! I own the dogs and those people I brought into the world are in charge of the rest. Of course there are lots of stories about all of these characters. For example, there’s the story of How the Corn snake and the Mouse Became Best Friends (true!).
I hope you’ll bookmark and come back soon. The blogs are broken into categories below, so pick what tickles your fancy.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. – Marcel Proust
