Great question! Let me explain. A factotum is someone who is proficient in many things and really loves knowledge. That sums me up. I love to learn, to teach, and to be taught. Now that I’ve recently graduated from homeschooling my final child, it’s time to give back to the community and parents who want to provide their children with a love of learning.
As you can imagine, during my time homeschooling, there were lots of other things going on, such as starting a business as a virtual assistant, developing chronic fatigue, and other medical mysteries. But through it all, I never lost my first love—helping kids learn about themselves and the world.
Anyway, that’s my short story, but through my blogs you’ll get to know me and hopefully, like what you read. As you can see from the headings, I’ve divided the blog into sections for homeschooling, working from home with kids, get a life (all about keeping in touch with your own identity), as well as reviews and resources.
